A Victorian house, overlooking a lake, this home was crying out for colour and personality...
And that was just what our clients were looking for when they contacted us.
The brief here was to inject some colour into this house and make it a home. The clients were clear on how they were going to use the rooms, but couldn't visualise how to pull the colours together, what furniture would really work in the large spaces and how to add impact to the room.

We reused some bookcases to create what looked like a custom built in library room in the home office, in the living room we chose an unusual archive colour for the walls to contrast with the tall skirting boards, deep architrave and shuttered windows. In the master bedroom we continued with the use of blue, but as a tertiary accent and softened the scheme so it still felt like a restful place to retreat to.
