This Victorian family home is fortunate to have large, tall windows and quirky details such as a built-in window seat, making the most of these features was key for a successful outcome.
Our clients found the living room uninspiring and rarely used it, the freestanding fireplace feeling isolated.
We added bespoke bookcases either side of the freestanding stove to still provide the feeling of alcoves, both functional and decorative.
An earthy French Gray was used on all walls, to make the room feel warm and inviting, with accents of ochre and cream. We were able to create a new space without changes to the existing seating saving money for the client.
