This Victorian home is connected to what was the old convent, and following an orangery being added to the kitchen, the clients found the space was still not working for them.
We needed to think creatively, overcoming a step between the orangery and kitchen as well as a fireplace in an awkward position.
A curved island was added with integrated bench seat to make the most of the space, extra cabinetry added for useful storage and the stove replaced with a built-in pantry cupboard. Painted in Skimming Stone, Strong White and Plummet the room is bright, airy and perfect for a busy family.
