The brief for this cottage was to showcase raw materials such as brick, wood, concrete and this was visible in every room - the kitchen has concrete worktops, there is oak flooring throughout, aged brass hardware. This has been softened using layers of lighting and soft furnishings, using velvet, wool, linen and boucle, coming together to create a cosy, refined holiday cottage that envelopes and cocoons it's lucky visitors.
