The brief was to create a warm space in a north-facing room, respecting the original features and turning a bland room into somewhere to relax in the evening.

Using ‘Card Room Green’ up to the chair rail injected enough colour to envelope the room and provide a warmth and richness to the scheme that the clients wanted to feel relaxed and at ease. 

We oversaw the repair of the chair rails and cornicing, continued the engineered oak flooring for continuity throughout the downstairs and added a vintage rug for comfort. The Loaf sofas in a mixture of beaten leather and grey wool finished the look.
