A tiny cottage in the heart of stratford-upon-avon, won over our hearts.

We project managed the renovation and restoration of this crumbling cottage, creating a modern rustic little gem.

This living room has a whole host of tricks to balance the need for comfort and for resilience as the cottage is a holiday let for discerning guests.

Tough oak flooring, clever velvet sofa and robust paint finishes were the must-have requirements. We dressed the windows with heavy, luxurious fabrics that will stand the test of time.

The staircase was in bad shape and viewable from the living room so we used the opportunity to make an eyecatching feature, packing in plenty of storage underneath and we even hid the meter and fuse box in a cupboard of 'logs'. Creativity has been the key here!
